Yongnuo LED Light YN60 - RGB WB (3200 K - 5500 K)

Yongnuo LED Light YN60 - RGB WB (3200 K - 5500 K) | Add colour or adjustable white light

Without a dedicated light, colour and the feel of white light are often left to the room you’re shooting in. The Yongnuo LED Light YN60 gives you an on-camera-lighting option described as RGB, with white balance from 3200 K to 5500 K. That makes its central appeal straightforward: you can work with coloured light, or choose a white-light setting within that stated temperature range. It’s worth being clear about what the title tells us: it gives the light’s colour modes and range, not its output or physical design. So I’d consider it for photographers and video makers who want to shape the colour of a scene, rather than buy a light on the assumption that it will cover a particular room or distance. The 3200–5500 K range is the concrete detail to compare with the lighting you use most.

Choosing it for your setup

RGB and adjustable white light serve different creative needs. RGB is the relevant part when you want coloured illumination; the white-balance range matters when you want white light with a chosen colour temperature. For a portrait, product scene or short video, that distinction can help you decide whether this kind of light belongs in your lighting plan. Those are examples of situations where coloured or adjustable white light may be useful, not a promise about brightness or coverage. If matching a specific ambient light is important, compare its colour temperature with the YN60’s stated 3200 K–5500 K range. If you’re choosing by output, dimensions, power or mounting options, those details aren’t established here, so don’t base that decision on the model name alone.

In practical terms, the YN60’s appeal is its combination of RGB and a defined white-balance range, rather than an unverified claim about power or portability. Think about the look you want to create first: a coloured accent calls for RGB, while a white-light setup calls for choosing within the stated temperature range. That keeps the decision tied to the information available. It’s a focused product description, and the honest point is that the title gives a useful colour specification but not enough to judge brightness for a particular shooting distance.
