Leofoto CF-07W Lens Foot For Canon RF70-200mm And RF24-105mm
Leofoto CF-07W Lens Foot For Canon RF70-200mm And RF24-105mm | A dedicated tripod foot for two Canon RF lenses
Without a lens foot, tripod support is usually arranged as part of the camera setup. The Leofoto CF-07W is a lens-specific tripod accessory for the Canon RF70-200mm and RF24-105mm. It suits photographers who regularly compose from a tripod and want an accessory made for one of these lenses, rather than a general-purpose add-on. Its appeal is straightforward: it gives these lenses a foot intended for tripod use, making it a considered option for a fixed composition. I’d look at it for a carefully framed landscape, a static subject, or any scene where you want to settle the framing before taking the shot. The fit is deliberately specific, which is helpful when it matches the lens you use. It isn’t a broad accessory purchase for every Canon RF setup.
Choosing this lens foot
Think about how often your photography with one of these lenses involves tripod-based framing. If you regularly set up a composition and want a lens-specific accessory for that routine, the CF-07W has a clear purpose. If your setup rarely goes on a tripod, this may simply be an accessory you won’t use much. Its value comes from matching the named lenses, rather than adding a general feature to a camera kit.
Specialist Note
At 200mm on the RF70-200mm, I’d use the CF-07W for a tripod-framed scene where I want to settle the composition before making an exposure. The useful point is that this is a lens foot made for that lens, rather than a general tripod accessory; the fit is specific. It also suits the RF24-105mm, so it makes sense if either of those is part of your tripod routine. For a static landscape or a carefully arranged subject, set your framing on the tripod and keep the composition fixed while you work. One honest limitation: its appeal depends on owning one of the named lenses, so it isn’t a general-purpose addition to a camera bag.
