SWIT KA-L21B KA-L21B | B-Mount Battery Plate w/ Lemo Cable Output 28.8V
SWIT KA-L21B KA-L21B | B-Mount power with a 28.8V cable output
Without a dedicated plate, a rig’s battery and its power cable can become separate pieces of the setup to manage. The SWIT KA-L21B brings those roles together in a tripod accessory: it’s a B-Mount battery plate with a Lemo cable output at 28.8V. It’s intended for camera crews and operators whose power workflow is already built around B-Mount batteries and a Lemo connection. The practical benefit is a defined route from the battery plate to a cable-powered part of the rig, rather than treating the battery and output as unrelated items. That makes it most relevant in a tripod-based setup where you want to organise power around the plate. This is a specific power accessory, rather than a general-purpose tripod add-on, so its value depends on whether B-Mount and the stated output suit your setup.
Power workflow
Think of the KA-L21B as a link in a power chain, not as a battery or a complete power system. Its role is to connect B-Mount battery use with a cable output, giving you a clear point to build that part of a rig around. That can be useful when arranging a tripod setup for a stationary camera position, or when keeping a cable-powered component connected as part of a planned rig layout. The plate won’t decide cable routing for you; the placement of your gear and the path of the cable still matter. It’s best suited to an existing B-Mount workflow, rather than a setup that needs a different battery approach.
Specialist Note
At a 28.8V tripod setup, I’d place the KA-L21B where its Lemo cable output can feed the power path you’ve planned, then keep the cable route tidy around the rig. The B-Mount format makes sense for operators already building around that battery system; it gives the plate a clear role rather than asking it to be a universal power solution. I’d consider it for a fixed camera position or a rig where a cable-connected component needs power from the battery plate. One point I’d be clear about at the counter: this is a focused accessory, and it only suits a workflow that matches its B-Mount and 28.8V output.
