Kondor Blue KB-CC80-VMP-BK Canon C80 Cage V-Mount Battery Plate Kit Raven Black
Kondor Blue KB-CC80-VMP-BK Canon C80 Cage V-Mount Battery Plate Kit Raven Black | A considered base for a tripod rig
Setting up a Canon C80 for tripod-based video work? This Kondor Blue kit brings a camera cage and V-mount battery plate together for a C80 rig. It’s listed as a tripod accessory, so it suits C80 users building a more structured camera setup around tripod work, rather than anyone looking for a camera or a standalone battery. The practical appeal is having the cage and battery plate presented as one kit for the C80, instead of sourcing those two parts separately. That makes it relevant for a studio interview, a fixed recording position or another production where the camera stays on a tripod for much of the day. The Raven Black finish gives the kit a discreet look alongside the camera. If you’re planning a C80 build around a V-mount battery, this is a focused accessory option; it isn’t a complete camera rig by itself.
Specialist Note
The Raven Black finish keeps the kit visually restrained on a built camera rig, which I appreciate when the C80 needs to look purposeful rather than cluttered. Since this is a cage kit with a V-mount battery plate, I’d consider it for a tripod-based interview setup or a fixed studio recording position where you want those rig components together around the camera. Start by planning the C80 build around the battery plate, then arrange the rest of the setup for your tripod position. One thing to bear in mind: this is a rig-building accessory, not a complete setup, so you’ll still need to choose the other parts to suit your production.
