The Urth 77mm Hard Graduated ND8 Lens Filter (Plus+)
The Urth 77mm Hard Graduated ND8 lens filter (Plus+) offers excellent light control, providing a steady 3 f-stop reduction for balanced exposure and impressive dynamic range in harsh graduated lighting conditions. It adeptly blocks 3 f-stops of light from half of the image, harmonizing lighting when the foreground appears darker than the background - a common issue in mountain landscapes. The hard graduation ensures a natural light blend.
The Plus+ series comes with 20 layers of nano-coating that help to ease the cleaning process while offering enhanced protection against water, oil, and scratches. These layers also improve maximum light transmission and assure a smoother transmission curve for consistent light reduction.
- For optimum results, use the Hard Graduated ND8 Plus+ with lenses of a 35mm focal length or more.
- For ultra-wide-angle lenses, the Soft Graduated ND8 Filter Plus+ is recommended as it provides a more natural light blend.
This filter is crafted from superior German B270 SCHOTT optical glass boasting 20 layers of nano-coating for improved light transmission, superior protection, and easier cleaning. The intentionally designed ultra-thin edge prevents vignetting, and the durable magnalium ensures a lifetime of reliable use.
Also featured is a double thread design. This filter has a double thread for stacking filters or using lens caps with screw fixing.
