7Artisans 67mm True Colour CPL Filter
7Artisans 67mm True Colour CPL Filter | Control reflections, keep colour natural
The defining choice is a 67mm circular polarising filter: it gives photographers a way to manage reflections and glare while keeping the filter size clear and specific. The “True Colour” name points to its intended colour character, while CPL describes the kind of filter it is. That makes it relevant for landscape and outdoor photography, and for scenes where reflections on water or glass distract from the subject. It suits anyone whose lens takes a 67mm filter and who wants more control over those effects at the point of shooting, rather than relying on editing later. A polariser’s effect depends on the direction of the light, so it’s most useful when you can adjust your position or framing. This is a focused tool for controlling reflected light, not a general-purpose protective filter.
Specialist Note
Late-afternoon light catches the surface of a canal, and the reflections compete with the detail beneath. That’s where a CPL earns its place: change your angle to the light and you can reduce distracting reflections on water or glass. The 67mm size gives you a clear fit to look for on the lens; it isn’t a universal size, so match it to a lens with a 67mm filter thread. I’d suggest it to someone who photographs landscapes, shop windows or water and wants to shape reflected light as they shoot. One honest point: a polariser’s effect changes with your position relative to the sun, so it won’t give the same result from every viewpoint.
