7Artisans 77mm MRCUV Filter
7Artisans 77mm MRCUV Filter | A straightforward UV filter for 77mm lenses
At 77mm, this 7Artisans UV filter is intended for lenses marked with the same filter size. It suits photographers who know the size they need and want a UV filter for their lens, whether they mostly shoot outdoors or simply want this filter type in their kit. Its appeal is its clear, specific purpose: it’s a UV filter, not a filter for adjusting exposure or creating a color effect. To choose the right fit, look for the filter-size marking on your lens rather than relying on the camera brand or focal length. The product name identifies the size and filter type, so it’s best to keep expectations to those points. If you want a particular look or a specific optical feature beyond UV filtering, make sure that’s what you’re shopping for before choosing this model.
Specialist Note
77mm tells you which lens size to match: look for that marking on the lens before choosing this filter. As a UV filter, it’s suited to photographers who specifically want UV filtering, especially when photographing outdoor scenes. Fit it on the lens before framing, then shoot as usual; the filter itself doesn’t call for a special exposure setting. I’d consider it for someone who already knows they need this size and wants a simple UV-filter option. One honest point: it’s a single-purpose filter, so don’t expect it to provide exposure adjustment or a creative color effect.
