8Sinn Top Plate + Right + Left Side Plate For RED V-Raptor
8Sinn Top Plate + Right + Left Side Plate For RED V-Raptor | Three plates for a tripod-based setup
8Sinn Top Plate + Right + Left Side Plate For RED V-Raptor is a three-part tripod accessory, with a top plate and right and left side plates for the RED V-Raptor. It suits filmmakers and camera crews who want a plate set specifically named for this camera system as part of a tripod-based setup. The useful distinction is the layout: instead of a single plate, this set includes pieces for the top and both sides of the camera. That gives you a coordinated set of attachment points to work with when planning a rig around tripod use. It’s a focused accessory rather than a general-purpose tripod component, so its appeal is clearest when the RED V-Raptor is the camera at the centre of your setup. If you’re organising a camera build and want the plate arrangement to match that system, this is the product to consider.
A set built around the camera
The product name is clear about what’s included in the design: one top plate and side plates for both the right and left sides. That three-part arrangement can be useful when you’re planning where support accessories belong around a camera, rather than relying on one plate alone. The supplier identifies it as a tripod accessory, so its role is in a tripod-oriented camera setup. Keep the scope in mind: this is a plate set for the RED V-Raptor, not a complete tripod solution.
Specialist Note
For crews shooting with the RED V-Raptor who want a tripod-centred camera build, this 8Sinn set is a neatly defined option. You get three plates: one for the top, plus one for each side. In practice, that means you can plan around those three camera surfaces when working out how your setup should be arranged, instead of choosing a single plate and treating it as the whole solution. I’d consider it when you’re building out a RED V-Raptor rig for tripod work and want the plate set to be specific to that camera. One honest point: it’s an accessory, not a tripod or a complete support system, so it makes sense as part of a wider setup.
