ACT 1.5m HDMI High Speed Cable HDMI-A Male - Male

ACT 1.5m HDMI High Speed Cable HDMI-A Male - Male | A direct link between HDMI-A sockets

Without a cable between them, two devices with HDMI-A sockets can’t make a direct HDMI connection. This ACT cable provides that link, with a male HDMI-A connector at each end. It’s for anyone arranging a straightforward connection between two devices that use those sockets, whether that’s for a home setup or a workspace. At 1.5 metres, it suits a route where the devices sit fairly close together; it’s not the option to reach across a room. The title identifies it as a High Speed HDMI cable, so it’s a clear fit when you’re looking for that cable type. There’s no need to make this more complicated than it is: the useful detail is that both ends are HDMI-A male, and the cable is intended to join compatible sockets directly.

Before choosing a cable, it helps to look at where the two devices will sit and how the cable will need to run between them. Measure the route, rather than just the gap between the devices: a cable may need to travel around a stand or along a desk. Leave enough slack for the layout you have in mind, but avoid leaving a loose run where it could catch when you move equipment. This is a simple connecting cable, so the key is matching its connector type to the sockets in your setup. If the connection you need is HDMI-A to HDMI-A, the male-to-male arrangement is easy to understand at a glance. If your setup calls for a different connector, this isn’t the cable to choose. That’s a small detail, but it saves an avoidable mismatch.
