ACT USB-C 3.2 GEN2 Active Optical Cable (AOC) For Touch Panels Data Power 3m

ACT USB-C 3.2 GEN2 Active Optical Cable (AOC) For Touch Panels Data Power 3m | Connect a touch panel over three metres

A touch panel can be placed three metres from its connection point with the ACT USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 Active Optical Cable. It’s intended for setups that need a cable for a touch panel’s data and power, making it relevant for workspaces, meeting areas or other installations where the panel won’t sit right beside the connected equipment. The cable uses an active optical design, as indicated by AOC in its name. That makes this a specific cable for a defined sort of connection, rather than a general camera accessory. If your job is connecting a touch panel over a three-metre run and you need data and power, this is the use the product is named for. Its USB-C connection and USB 3.2 Gen 2 designation are useful details to match against the connection your setup calls for.

Planning the connection

Before setting up, consider where the touch panel will be used and where its cable needs to reach. The three-metre length gives you a concrete distance to work around; measure the intended route rather than relying on a straight-line estimate, especially if the cable needs to follow a desk or wall. Keep the purpose in mind, too: the product is described for touch panels and for data and power, so it’s aimed at a connection doing those jobs together. The USB-C and USB 3.2 Gen 2 wording helps identify the cable, but the title alone doesn’t make it a universal fit for every device with a USB-C socket. Match the connection and intended use to your setup before placing it. A short check of the route and connection points can save a frustrating change of plan once the panel is in position.
