BongoTies All-Green: Keep cables and gear neatly together

Neatly gathered cables and small pieces of gear are easier to keep organised with BongoTies All-Green, a pack of 10 reusable ties made from natural rubber and bamboo. Their patented knot-style closure is the detail that sets them apart from a single-use cable tie: each tie can be removed and used again. At home or at a desk, use them to bundle computer and television cables, appliance cords, chargers or adapters. They’re also handy for keeping strings of festive lights together when they’re not in use. Beyond cable organisation, these green ties can fasten tarpaulins or banners, hold items in place during gluing, or attach belongings to a backpack, bicycle or luggage. That range comes from a simple, reusable tie rather than a dedicated cable-only accessory. The pack comes in a resealable zip bag, so the ties have a place to go between jobs.

Why it is useful

• Pack of 10: You get ten matching ties for sorting several cords or keeping a few spare for other jobs. The quantity is useful when you’re organising more than one cable bundle.
• Reusable construction: The ties are easy to put on and take off, and can be used again. That makes them suitable for things you’ll need to bundle, release and gather up another time, such as festive lights.
• Patented knot-style closure: A knot closure holds the tie around what you’re fastening, while remaining straightforward to undo. It’s a different approach from cutting off a one-use cable tie.
• Bamboo and natural rubber: These are the stated materials used to make the ties. Both are described by the supplier as renewable organic materials.
• Useful beyond cables: Use them to fasten a tarpaulin or hang a banner, or to hold items together while glue sets. The same pack also works for attaching belongings to a backpack, bicycle or luggage.
• Resealable storage bag: The ten ties come in a zip-close bag that can be closed again after use. It keeps the set together when the ties aren’t on a cable, bag or other item.
