Cartoni AD831 Skating Wheels Group
Cartoni AD831 Skating Wheels Group | Reposition your tripod with less lifting
Move your tripod between camera positions without having to carry the whole setup. The Cartoni AD831 Skating Wheels Group is a tripod accessory for camera operators who regularly shift their framing around a room or production space. Its skating-wheel design is intended to make those repositioning moments easier: roll the tripod to a new spot, then compose your shot there. That can be handy when adjusting an interview setup, moving between product angles, or changing a camera position during a day’s work. It’s most relevant when you need to move a tripod repeatedly on a suitable floor, rather than leave it in one place. The AD831 is identified as a tripod accessory, so think of it as part of your tripod setup, not as a standalone support. If your work involves frequent position changes, it can help make those transitions less of a lift.
Specialist Note
The 831 in AD831 gives you a specific reference when asking us about this Cartoni accessory. In practical terms, the skating wheels are there to help you move a tripod between positions, which is useful when you’re shifting an interview frame or adjusting the viewpoint for a series of product shots. I’d think of it for a workspace where you make those changes on the same floor, rather than for carrying a tripod between locations. As a tripod accessory, it belongs as part of a tripod setup; it isn’t a support on its own. If your tripod tends to stay put all day, you may not need a wheel group.
