Caruba Dummy Battery Fujifilm NP W235 USB C

Caruba Dummy Battery Fujifilm NP W235 USB C | Power your setup via USB-C

Instead of stopping to swap a camera battery, a dummy battery gives you another way to approach a powered setup. The Caruba Dummy Battery Fujifilm NP W235 USB C is named for the Fujifilm NP-W235 battery format and USB-C, making it relevant to photographers building a setup around that format. It’s worth considering when a camera stays in one place for a long stretch, such as during a fixed filming or studio session, and you’d rather avoid a battery change interrupting the work. The appeal is practical, not complicated: it’s an alternative to relying on a standard battery swap. If your work involves moving around with the camera, a conventional spare battery may be more convenient; this accessory makes more sense when the setup is planned and stays put.

The product name is specific, which makes it easier to judge whether it belongs in your setup: it refers to NP-W235, not a universal battery format. The USB-C connection is part of the description too. That points to a power arrangement built around USB-C, rather than simply carrying another camera battery. For a photographer or video creator who works at a fixed position, that kind of arrangement can be useful when changing batteries would break concentration or interrupt a take. There’s no need to treat it as a general-purpose camera power accessory; its appeal is in matching the named battery format and connection to the way you work. One honest consideration: it’s a specialist solution, so it makes most sense when those details fit the camera setup you’re planning to power.
