The Gray Card, loaded with an 18% gray shade assists in perfecting the image exposure, whereas the White Card acts as a neutral reference, helping in getting the white balance settings right.

Advanced Software Compatibility
The software now comes upgraded to version 1.2, supporting both DNG and ICC camera profiles, created using the Classic Target. Recognizing the color card you are using and creating color profiles under different lighting conditions, the system reduces color inconsistencies in captures and aligns color balance from scene to scene. You also have the option to combine DNG profiles with two light sources into a single profile. This can be applied over a wide range of lighting conditions.
Further support for the Passport Photo 2 comes from a plethora of software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom via a free plugin, Hasselblad Phocus, Black Magic DaVinci Resolve, 3D LUT Creator, and DxO Photolab 4.
