Comica TWO-Channel XLR/3.5mm/6.35mm Interface Linkflex AD3 (Linkflex)

Comica TWO-Channel XLR/3.5mm/6.35mm Interface Linkflex AD3 (Linkflex) | A two-channel audio interface with three named connection formats

Without an interface, matching audio connections across a setup can mean choosing equipment around the connectors already in use. The Comica Linkflex AD3 is a two-channel interface whose title names XLR, 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm connections. It’s for people putting together an audio or audio/video setup where those formats matter, and who want a single product identified for two channels rather than a one-channel model. Its clearest appeal is that combination of two-channel designation and three named connector formats. The title doesn’t explain the exact connection layout, so I wouldn’t assume which format goes where from the name alone. That’s an honest point to keep in mind when matching it to other equipment. If those connection types and the two-channel format fit the job you have in mind, the AD3 gives you a specific model to investigate.

Choosing the right fit

Start by writing down the connection format at each point in your audio setup. The AD3’s product name gives you three to compare: XLR, 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm. It also identifies the interface as two-channel. Those details are a useful starting point, but a list of connector formats by itself doesn’t tell you how they’re arranged on the unit or how a particular source and destination should be connected. Match the formats and channel requirement to your planned setup before settling on a connection path. That’s more useful than choosing by model name alone, especially when you’re bringing together equipment with different audio connections. The name Linkflex AD3 identifies this Comica model; the connection formats and channel count are the concrete details to work from.
