Commlite Adapter Comix cm-NF-Nex - Nikon F / Sony E

Commlite Adapter Comix cm-NF-Nex - Nikon F / Sony E | Use Nikon F lenses on Sony E cameras

Owning a Nikon F lens doesn’t help much when the camera you want to use takes a different mount. The Commlite Adapter Comix cm-NF-Nex is made to bridge that gap, joining a Nikon F lens with a Sony E camera. It’s for photographers who want to use a lens they already own on a camera from the other system, rather than leave that lens out of their kit. The appeal is straightforward: one clearly defined lens-to-camera pairing, without buying another lens just to match the camera’s mount. This is a practical accessory to consider when that’s the combination you’re trying to put together. Its name gives you the key information for choosing it: Nikon F on the lens side and Sony E on the camera side. Match those mount names to your equipment before you buy; the pairing needs to be right.

A focused adapter for a specific pairing

Mount adapters can look similar in a product list, so the exact model name matters. Here, “NF” and “Nex” sit alongside the Nikon F / Sony E description, making the intended pairing easy to identify. If your aim is to bring a Nikon F lens into a Sony E setup, this is the combination this adapter is named for. That’s the useful starting point when comparing accessories: begin with the lens mount and camera mount, not just the brand printed on the product.

Keep your expectations tied to what the product is: an adapter for the stated mounts. The title doesn’t describe any other role, so this page doesn’t promise additional functions. For a straightforward purchase decision, look at the mount labels on the lens and camera you plan to use, then compare them with the pairing below. If both sides match, you’ve identified the intended setup. It’s a small detail, but getting the direction right is what makes an adapter relevant to your kit.
