The Large Mirrorless MKII from Shimoda Core Unit delivers shock-resistant protection to ensure your mirrorless or DSLR camera, lenses, and other camera accessories remain secure. It's specially crafted divider system makes it suitable for systems and DSLR cameras measuring up to 12 centimeters high. This core unit is a perfect fit for a variety of cameras including the Fujifilm X-T4, Sony a7 series, and the Canon 5D.
The core unit provides camera access from the side, making it easy to pair with a backpack that also offers side access. For example, it works well with Shimoda Action X30 or Explore V2 30 backpacks. In case you need additional space, you always have the option to stack multiple Core Units simultaneously for a modular solution.
With dividers and walls made from EVA, the Shimoda Core Unit offers superior protection compared to common PE foam padding used in many camera bags. The EVA edges are slim, allowing more space while still providing top-notch protection. For additional durability and support, the frame of the unit comprises of lightweights aluminum. Quick camera access is facilitated with a zip closure on the side.
The Shimoda Core Unit comes with a light, water-resistant cover, ideal for storing equipment and keeping your core unit dust-free. The cover also doubles as an additional packing option for clothing or other items.
