CoreSWX Core SWX Direct Connect Helix V-Mount Plate For ARRI Alexa 35

CoreSWX Core SWX Direct Connect Helix V-Mount Plate For ARRI Alexa 35 | A dedicated V-mount plate for Alexa 35

Its defining detail is right in the name: this is a Direct Connect Helix V-Mount Plate made for the ARRI Alexa 35. If you’re putting together a battery setup around that camera, this is the specific plate to consider, rather than a general-purpose battery accessory. The product name is also refreshingly clear about its place in a build: it identifies the V-Mount format and the camera it’s intended for. That gives you a straightforward starting point when choosing a plate for an Alexa 35 setup. It’s a specialist component, so its appeal is focused; the useful question is whether this is the named plate your camera build calls for. There’s no need to read broader promises into the title. CoreSWX, Direct Connect and Helix are the identifiers supplied for this product.

A focused part of a camera build

For a crew or operator working with the named camera, the model-specific wording makes this plate easier to identify among battery accessories. V-Mount tells you the battery format the plate is built around, while the Alexa 35 reference points to its intended camera application. Those are the details that matter most when you’re narrowing down parts for a particular rig. The Direct Connect wording is part of the product’s name, so it helps distinguish this version when you’re looking for the exact CoreSWX plate. Keep the choice practical: match the product identity to the build you’re assembling, rather than assuming that a plate named for one camera is a general fit across other systems. That’s a narrow role, but a clear one.
