Dörr Quick-Release Plate For Highlights XB-28 | A dedicated plate for your tripod setup

Without a quick-release plate, moving a camera on and off a tripod can mean dealing with the mounting connection each time. This Dörr plate is a tripod accessory made for the Highlights XB-28, giving owners of that model a part intended for their specific setup. Its job is focused: it’s for the quick-release arrangement, rather than a general tripod upgrade or a way to add new shooting features. That makes it relevant if you use a Highlights XB-28 and want the plate component associated with its quick-release system close at hand. It also suits photographers who switch between tripod-based framing and working without the tripod, where a quick-release setup can make that change less of a chore. The product name gives a specific model reference, so this is a targeted accessory for the Highlights XB-28 rather than a broadly described plate for any tripod.

Specialist Note

Its scope is deliberately narrow: this is a quick-release plate for the Highlights XB-28, not a general-purpose tripod part. That specificity is the reason to choose it when that’s the tripod in your setup. As a tripod accessory, it belongs in the connection between your camera arrangement and the tripod; as a quick-release plate, its purpose is to make attaching and removing that arrangement more convenient. I’d consider it for a setup you alternate between handheld use and tripod framing, or when you want to keep the XB-28’s quick-release system ready for a change of position. It’s a focused purchase, and best suited to owners of the named model.
