DZOFilm Vespid Prime 2 24mm T1.9 PL Lens

The DZOFilm Vespid Prime 2 24mm T1.9 PL lens is celebrated for its versatility, making it an essential part of any cinematographer's toolkit. With a wide field of view and a natural perspective, it excels in various filmmaking scenarios, including dialogue scenes, handheld shooting, and dynamic camera movements.

Designed to perform optimally in diverse lighting conditions, the lens features a constant T1.9 aperture that allows for creative depth of field control. The optical engineering consists of 14 elements arranged in 13 groups, delivering outstanding sharpness, managed contrast, and consistent color reproduction. Advanced coatings reduce reflections and stray light, ensuring a clean image that is easy to color grade. This reliability makes it a great choice when combining multiple lenses from the series within a single production.

With a minimal focusing distance of just 0.3 meters and reduced focus breathing, this lens is particularly adept at capturing close wide shots and focus pulls, maintaining image stability and clarity. Floating elements ensure that optical performance remains consistent across the entire focus range, from infinity to close focus.

Its compact design features a PL mount, Cooke i metadata compatibility, and a uniform front diameter of 80 mm, allowing for seamless integration into professional film setups. Whether you're using a matte box, follow focus, or gimbal, the 24mm adapts effortlessly to existing configurations.
