Eminent Grey 10 Meter U/UTP CaT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors

Eminent Grey 10 Meter U/UTP CaT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors | Reach across a longer cable run

Connect network equipment across a longer run with the Eminent Grey 10 Meter U/UTP CaT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors. It’s a 10-metre patch cable with RJ45 connectors, suited to a setup where the connection point isn’t right beside the device. The extra reach can make it easier to route a connection around a room or along a chosen path, rather than rearranging equipment to bring it closer. Its grey colour gives you a clear visual cue when tracing the cable among other leads. This is a straightforward option when you need a Cat6 cable in a specific length, with the U/UTP designation shown in the product name. Before you settle on a route, consider the path the cable needs to follow as well as the straight-line distance between the two points. Ten metres gives you a concrete length to plan around; it’s worth leaving enough slack for the route you actually intend to use.

Planning the cable run

A cable’s route can take more distance than the gap between the devices: it may need to follow a wall, pass around furniture or run along an edge. Measure that intended path, rather than estimating from where the connection starts and ends. That small step helps you judge whether this length suits your setup before you arrange the equipment. If you already have several cables in place, the grey finish can also help you pick this one out while following the run. Keep the route in mind when positioning the connected equipment, and avoid planning around a path that would leave the cable stretched tight. It’s a simple detail, but it makes the installation easier to live with.
