Epson EcoTank ET-16605 Inkjet Colour MFP

Epson EcoTank ET-16605 Inkjet Colour MFP | Colour printing for office work

Without a multifunction printer, office printing and document tasks can end up spread across separate devices or extra steps. The Epson EcoTank ET-16605 is an inkjet colour MFP in the office printer category, so its stated role is clear: colour printing as part of a multifunction office setup. It may suit a workplace looking for that kind of device, or someone comparing office printers by printer type and intended setting. The honest limit is that the product name alone doesn’t tell us how it handles a particular workload. I’d start by asking what your office needs to do day to day, then compare those needs with confirmed details before choosing. That’s a more useful basis for a purchase than assuming every office MFP has the same capabilities.

Choosing by the work you do

For an office, the right printer is the one that matches the documents and tasks you actually handle. If colour output and a multifunction format are part of your brief, this model’s name puts both at the centre of the comparison. If your decision depends on specific functions, capacity, connection options, speed or running costs, use confirmed information about those points to judge the fit; the model name doesn’t answer them. That distinction matters. “Inkjet colour MFP” identifies the printer type, while “office printer” gives its category, but neither phrase should be treated as a promise about every detail of a particular workflow.

I’d shortlist the Epson EcoTank ET-16605 when you’re specifically comparing office-oriented inkjet colour MFPs. Keep your requirements in view and assess the model against them using verified product information. That gives you a sensible starting point without guessing at features from the name.
