Epson Lens - ELPLX01WS - UST - EB-PU Series
Epson Lens - ELPLX01WS - UST - EB-PU Series | Project from closer to the screen
Epson Lens - ELPLX01WS - UST - EB-PU Series is an ultra-short-throw lens for Epson EB-PU Series projectors, built for presentation spaces where the projector needs to sit close to the screen. It suits businesses, venues and institutions planning a fixed projection setup and looking to avoid placing the projector far back in the room. The defining point is its UST design: it gives system planners a lens option for shorter projector-to-screen placement than a conventional long-throw setup. That can be helpful in compact meeting rooms, exhibition spaces or installations where the available floor or ceiling position is limited. This is a specialist lens rather than a standalone projector, so its role is to shape the placement options within an Epson EB-PU Series system. For a new installation, it’s worth planning the projector position and screen together; the lens is most relevant when close placement is part of the room’s layout, not simply a label to add to a specification sheet.
Specialist Note
People presenting in compact rooms or building close-set displays are the customers I’d point towards this Epson UST lens. Its ultra-short-throw design is the practical reason to consider it: it lets you plan around a projector position near the screen, which can help keep a presentation area clear of a projector placed further back. I’d discuss it for a meeting-room presentation or a fixed exhibition display, starting with the screen location and then planning the projector position around that. The EB-PU Series designation matters too: this lens is intended for that projector series, so the installation needs to be based around an EB-PU model. The product code, ELPLX01WS, is the precise name to use when discussing the lens. It’s a focused solution for close placement, rather than a general-purpose upgrade for every setup.
