Exascend Catalyst w/ Adapter UHS-I SD Card(V30) 1TB

Exascend Catalyst w/ Adapter UHS-I SD Card(V30) 1TB | High-capacity SD storage

When a shoot calls for one card with room for a substantial amount of material, the Exascend Catalyst 1TB is the sort of option to consider. It’s an SDXC card with a 1TB capacity, a UHS-I interface and a V30 rating, as its product name specifies. That gives you useful points to compare against the recording and storage requirements of the device you plan to use. It’s aimed at photographers and video makers who need a large-capacity SD card and already know their equipment calls for these standards. The honest point is that a capacity figure alone can’t tell you how many photos or how much video it will hold; that depends on the files your device creates. Its appeal is clear, though: 1TB is the headline, with the card’s SDXC, UHS-I and V30 designations there to help you judge whether it suits your workflow.

A considered match for your setup

Before choosing any memory card, compare its format, interface and speed class with the requirements for your intended device and recording mode. Those details matter more than a broad promise that a card will suit every situation. The Catalyst’s name gives you the key identifiers to make that comparison, while its capacity makes it relevant when you’d rather work with a large amount of storage on one card. If your equipment calls for a different card format or class, this may not be the right match. There’s no need to guess from the capacity alone: use the card standards your workflow requires as the deciding point.
