Notably, the extension tube is an empty tube - it doesn't contain any lens system and hence, it doesn't affect the lens quality. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use extension tubes with a telephoto lens. The use of extension tubes does not alter any of your camera's automatic functions, such as autofocus and TTL light metering. The whole set comprises of three individual parts that can be used independently or together for greater magnification.
