Formatt Hitech FC 67mm Superslim Uncoated Stackable Cir.pol.
Formatt Hitech FC 67mm Superslim Uncoated Stackable Cir.pol. | Control reflections and enrich skies
Reflections on water, glass and shiny surfaces can distract from the subject you’re trying to photograph. The Formatt Hitech FC 67mm is a circular polarizing filter: rotate it while looking through the viewfinder or at your screen to adjust reflections and the appearance of the sky. It’s a practical tool for landscape photographers, travel shooters and anyone who often photographs through or beside reflective surfaces. The effect depends on the light and your angle, so turn the filter gradually and stop when the scene looks natural. This 67mm filter is also stackable, which gives you the option of combining it with another filter when your setup calls for it. Its purpose is specific: managing glare and reflections in the frame. If those are recurring distractions in your photographs, this filter gives you a direct way to work with them at the shooting stage.
Specialist Note
An uncoated filter can be less forgiving around bright light, so I wouldn’t treat this as something to leave on every lens all the time. Its appeal is the purposeful, slim design: the superslim profile keeps the filter itself shallow, while the stackable construction lets you add another filter when you need that flexibility. I’d point it toward someone photographing water, shop windows or a bright landscape, and suggest rotating it slowly until unwanted reflections ease or the sky gains the contrast you want. The effect changes as you turn it, so judge it in the frame rather than setting it once and forgetting it.
