The Firecrest ND series, a revolutionary offering from Formatt Hitech, boasts a new kind of ND filter produced with a rare earth metal coating. This technology, breakthrough in its approach, yields hyper-neutral ND effects. ND filters, also known as grey filters, are designed to decrease exposure across the whole image surface. Firecrest ND filters' usage is broad, but they yield highly effective results in landscape photography involving long exposure times and city photography with substantial light influx.
Formatt Hitech constructs the Firecrest ND filter from Schott Superwite glass, encased in a 5.5mm SuperSlim ring. Built with water repellency and anti-reflective properties, Firecrest ND filters enhance the contrast and sharpness in your captures. Moreover, the Firecrest coating imparts this filter with high resistance to scratches, UV light, and infrared light.
