GGS MS-1B Camera Strap - Black
GGS MS-1B Camera Strap - Black - Adjustable from 90 to 160 cm
GGS MS-1B Camera Strap - Black adjusts from 90 to 160 cm, giving you a choice of neck carry or diagonal shoulder carry. It’s aimed at mirrorless and compact camera users who want one strap for different ways of carrying their camera. Made from nylon and rated for loads up to 15 kg, it has the stated capacity for setups with heavier telephoto lenses as well as lighter compact kits. Two adjustment clips make changing its length straightforward, and the strap fits both round and rectangular attachment points. A supplied adapter hook is included for round fittings. At 80 g, it keeps its own weight low in a small camera bag. That range of carry styles covers a compact camera on a short city walk, or a mirrorless body with a telephoto lens on a longer outing.
What it does
- Adjustable length: The strap spans 90–160 cm, with two clips for quick changes. Set the length for a closer neck carry or a longer diagonal carry across the shoulder.
- 15 kg load rating: Its stated capacity covers compact and mirrorless camera setups, including those with a heavier telephoto lens. That’s useful when your camera kit weighs more than a small everyday compact.
- Nylon construction: Nylon gives the strap its strong, lightweight construction. The strap itself weighs 80 g, so it adds little weight when packed with a camera.
- Two carrying positions: Wear it around your neck or diagonally over your shoulder. The adjustable length lets you choose between those positions as you carry your camera.
- Round and rectangular fittings: The strap works with both shapes of camera strap attachment. An adapter hook is supplied for round attachment points.
Specialist Note
For street photographers carrying a compact camera, or mirrorless shooters taking a telephoto lens along, the MS-1B covers both kinds of kit. I like that the 90–160 cm adjustment gives you a choice between neck carry and wearing it diagonally across your shoulder; that’s a useful difference when you’re moving around with the camera. Its nylon strap has a 15 kg rating, so it’s specified for heavier setups too, not just small cameras. The 80 g weight keeps the strap itself light. Just keep its stated length range in mind when choosing how you prefer to carry your camera.
