Godox Spotlight Lens 36° For MLP36K
Godox Spotlight Lens 36° For MLP36K | Direct light with a defined spread
Without a spotlight lens, directing light precisely often means working around a broader, less controlled beam. The Godox Spotlight Lens 36° is an accessory for the Godox MLP36K that gives you a defined 36° spread to work with. It suits photographers and studio creators who want to direct light onto a particular part of a scene rather than illuminate a wider area. Use it to bring attention to a portrait subject, a product or a detail in a set: aim the MLP36K so the beam falls where you want it, then adjust your lighting arrangement around that area. The 36° angle offers room to cover a subject or a modest set area while keeping the light’s direction intentional. It’s a focused tool for shaping where your light goes, not a replacement for general studio lighting. If your work calls for controlled placement from an MLP36K, this lens gives you a straightforward way to make that part of the setup more deliberate.
Specialist Note
This lens is tied to the MLP36K, so it won’t suit a setup built around a different light; for owners of that model, its 36° spread is the reason to consider it. I’d use it when a portrait needs a distinct patch of light, or when you want a small product detail to draw the eye. Point the MLP36K toward the area you want to highlight and keep the rest of the scene outside the beam as much as your lighting arrangement allows. The 36° angle gives you a defined area to work with, though it won’t create a narrow pinspot. If that controlled, broader pool is what you need, this is a purpose-specific addition to the MLP36K.
