H&Y Bracket For Lee 100mm | Extra support for handheld video

Without a shoulder rig, handheld video work relies on your arms alone, which can make it harder to keep a composed frame during a longer take. The H&Y Bracket For Lee 100mm is a shoulder rig for videographers who want extra support while working handheld. It’s suited to practical video jobs where you need to stay mobile, such as an interview or event coverage. The aim is straightforward: support the camera as you frame and record, without turning a moving setup into a static one. The product name refers to Lee 100mm, but I’m keeping the description to the details confirmed for this bracket rather than assuming further fit information. If your priority is handheld shooting with added support, it’s a focused option to consider. It won’t make handheld footage identical to a locked-off shot; it gives you a shoulder-rig approach to supporting the camera.

Specialist Note

This isn’t a substitute for a tripod or a promise of shake-free video; the reason to consider it is the shoulder-rig format, which gives handheld work extra support while letting you stay mobile. I’d suggest it to someone filming interviews or following activity: keep the camera supported at your shoulder and work at a pace that lets you hold your framing. Its black colour gives the rig a restrained look; that’s an appearance detail, not a performance feature. The name specifies the Lee 100mm reference, so I’d keep expectations to the bracket identified here rather than assuming other compatibility. For handheld video, that clear, practical role is the point.
