Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fibre 200GSM 152.4cmx30m

Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fibre 200GSM 152.4cmx30m | A wide 30m paper roll

When a print job calls for a broad sheet rather than a small-format print, the size of the paper roll matters from the start. Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fibre is a photo paper product identified by its 200gsm weight, supplied in a format measuring 152.4cm by 30m. That gives you the key details to consider when planning a print run: the width you need to accommodate and the length available on the roll. It’s aimed at people choosing media for photo printing who have a specific output size in mind, rather than shoppers looking for a small pack of sheets. The name also identifies it as a matt fibre paper. One practical point: the wide format makes printer width an important part of the decision, so match the roll size to the equipment and job you have planned.

Planning around the format

Before committing to a large-format print job, compare the 152.4cm width with the media width your printer can accept. The product name gives a precise width and roll length, but those numbers don’t by themselves establish compatibility with a particular printer. That’s worth bearing in mind if you’re replacing a roll already in use or setting up a new workflow. Also think about the dimensions of the finished prints: a wide roll gives you room to plan larger output, while the 30m length helps you estimate how much paper a run may require. The actual amount used will depend on your print sizes and layout, so allow for your own job requirements rather than treating the roll length as a count of finished prints. It’s a straightforward format to assess once you know the printer and output dimensions involved.
