Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling 15.0 M 90dB

Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling 15.0 M 90dB | Reach a more distant coax connection

When the antenna connection you need is farther away than a short lead can reach, getting the cable to the right spot can be a nuisance. This Hama antenna cable gives you a 15-metre run, with a coax plug at one end and a coax coupling at the other. It suits anyone who needs that plug-to-coupling connection and wants extra distance between the two points. The length is the main reason to choose it: you can plan a longer route rather than trying to position equipment close to the antenna socket. Its white finish is a simple detail to keep in mind if the cable will be visible along a wall or around a room. The product name also gives a 90 dB figure; it’s included below as stated, without assigning it a meaning beyond that.

Allow for the route

A 15-metre cable gives you room to route it around the space, but it’s worth thinking about the path before you settle on where each end will go. Measure the route the cable needs to follow, rather than just the straight-line distance between the connection points. That makes it easier to judge whether this length suits your setup. Also consider the two connector ends when choosing: this cable has a coax plug on one end and a coax coupling on the other, so the connection points need to suit those ends. The description is deliberately specific about that arrangement; it’s not a cable with matching plugs at both ends. If you’re shopping by cable length and connector type, those are the details to compare first.
