Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling Metal Gold Plated 5.0 M 120 DB

Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling Metal Gold Plated 5.0 M 120 DB | A five-metre antenna connection

An antenna cable that doesn’t quite reach can leave you rearranging your equipment just to make a connection. This Hama antenna cable gives you a 5-metre run between a coax plug and a coax coupling, so you can position connected antenna equipment farther apart. Its connectors are metal and gold plated, and the cable is rated at 120 dB. Those details make it easier to identify the cable you need when you’re matching connector types and cable length to your setup. It’s suited to someone who needs this particular coax connection and wants a little more reach than a short lead provides. The practical point is simple: the plug and coupling are different ends, so check which type each connection point accepts. That matters more than the finish when you’re choosing a cable.

Check the connection you need

Coax connections can be easy to mix up when you’re looking at a cable listing or sorting through leads at home. Here, the product name identifies one end as a coax plug and the other as a coax coupling. Match those terms to the two connection points in your antenna setup, and consider whether a 5-metre cable gives you enough distance for the route you have in mind. The black colour is also useful for identifying this specific cable if you keep several leads together. There’s no need to make the choice more complicated than that: the connector types and stated length are the main details to compare for this product.
