Hama USB 2.0 Verbindingskabel Type A/B 5.0 Meter

Hama USB 2.0 Verbindingskabel Type A/B 5.0 Meter | A five-metre USB link

A cable that comes up short can dictate where your equipment has to sit. This Hama USB 2.0 connecting cable gives you five metres to work with, joining a Type A connection to a Type B one. It’s for setups where those are the connections you need and a little extra reach makes the layout easier to manage. The 5.0-metre length is the practical detail to focus on: you can route the cable farther between the two connection points than a short lead allows. It’s a straightforward cable, rather than something with a range of extra functions to learn. If your main concern is connecting Type A and Type B over a longer distance, this is the job it’s made to do.

USB 2.0 is the stated standard, so that’s the detail to match against the connection you’re setting up. The cable’s Type A/B designation tells you which connector types it joins; it doesn’t name a particular device or camera system. In practice, the useful check is simple: the equipment at either end needs to have the matching connection. The extra length can help when the two points aren’t close together, though a longer cable may need a little more thought when routing it neatly. Its grey colour is easy to distinguish from a black cable in a bundle. There’s no more complicated pitch here: it’s a five-metre USB 2.0 cable for a Type A-to-Type B connection.
