HOLLYLAND DB25 Male To DB15 Female Tally Cable

HOLLYLAND DB25 Male To DB15 Female Tally Cable | Connect tally ports with different DB sizes

A tally setup can leave you with two connections that don’t match, even when the cable you need is a simple one. This HOLLYLAND cable has a DB25 male connector at one end and a DB15 female connector at the other, giving you those two connector formats in a single tally cable. It’s intended for video crews and operators working with tally connections who need this specific end arrangement. The useful detail is the direction: DB25 male to DB15 female, not the reverse. That makes it easier to identify when sorting cables or planning a connection between compatible tally ports. The connector names alone don’t tell you whether it suits every device or setup, so match the cable ends to the connections required by your equipment. If that’s the layout your rig calls for, this is a straightforward cable to add to the tally link.

Connector arrangement

Read the product name from left to right when identifying its ends: DB25 male, then DB15 female. That distinction matters when you’re choosing a cable for a particular connection, especially if you have several tally leads with different plugs in the same kit. This cable is specifically described as a tally cable, so its role is in a tally connection rather than as a general-purpose DB connector lead. It won’t tell you the pin assignment or the equipment it’s intended to connect, so those details should come from the requirements of your own setup. The practical point is simple: use this option when the required tally cable arrangement calls for these two connector types and genders.
