Iiyama 22IW LCD Full HD Gaming IPS 100Hz | Smooth, clear play for compact desks

Iiyama 22IW LCD Full HD Gaming IPS 100Hz combines a 100Hz refresh rate with an IPS panel for clear, fluid gaming on a compact 22-inch screen. It suits players who want a straightforward monitor for a desk setup, and anyone who also uses one screen for everyday browsing, video and study. The 100Hz refresh rate can make fast movement look smoother than on a standard 60Hz display, especially in games that can deliver higher frame rates. Its Full HD resolution keeps game scenes and text detailed at this screen size, while the IPS panel helps keep the picture looking consistent when you’re viewing it from an angle. This is a sensible fit for a smaller gaming area or a second screen where you’d rather keep the setup neat. It’s focused on the essentials: a modest screen size, Full HD and a faster refresh rate, without claims about features we can’t verify.

Specialist Note

Evening settles over a compact desk, and the 22-inch Iiyama has room to show the game without taking over the setup. I’d consider it for a player who wants a manageable screen size and a refresh rate suited to faster on-screen action. Full HD gives you a clear picture at this size, so game menus and text stay easy to read as well as the action. For a smoother feel, use a game and system that can send frames at a higher rate; the 100Hz panel gives those frames room to appear more often than a 60Hz screen. One practical limit: 22 inches is a focused desktop size, not a broad display for a large viewing distance.
