Ilford Dev Tray 12x16 inch White

Ilford Dev Tray 12x16 inch White | A straightforward tray for darkroom work

The Ilford Dev Tray 12x16 inch White is a white developing tray in a 12 x 16 inch size, for photographers working in a darkroom. It’s a simple piece of equipment for the part of the process where photographic material is handled in developing solution. The stated size gives you a concrete measurement to compare with the materials and working space in your own setup. If you’re organising a darkroom, that’s useful: you can choose trays by their dimensions rather than guessing from a product photo. This is best suited to someone who already knows they need a developing tray in this format. There’s no complicated pitch here; the main points are the Ilford name, the tray’s darkroom purpose, its white colour and its 12 x 16 inch size.

A developing tray is part of the hands-on side of darkroom work. You place the photographic material in the tray as part of processing, so its size matters when you’re deciding whether it fits your particular workflow. Compare the 12 x 16 inch measurement with the material you intend to process and the space available on your bench. That’s a practical check, not a claim about what will fit every setup. The white finish is also an easy identifying detail if you’re sorting equipment by colour. Beyond those points, the product name gives the useful information plainly: it’s a dev tray, in a defined size, for darkroom use. If those are the details you’re looking for, this description keeps the choice uncomplicated.
