Ilford Galerie Prestige Fine Art Textrd Gpfat 111.8cmx30.5m

Ilford Galerie Prestige Fine Art Textured GPFAT 111.8 cm x 30.5 m | Textured paper for fine art printing

The textured surface is the defining detail of this Ilford Galerie Prestige paper, making it a choice for prints where the paper itself should contribute to the presentation. It suits photographers and printmakers looking for a fine art paper in a generous roll format, particularly when a textured surface is part of the intended look. The product name identifies it as Fine Art Textrd GPFAT; the title’s “Textrd” appears to be an abbreviated form of textured. That’s a more useful distinction to focus on than expecting every fine art paper to feel or present the same way. If you’re selecting paper for a specific print, consider how its surface will sit with the image and the way you want the finished work to be seen. This is the textured option to consider when that surface character matters to your choice.

Considering the roll format

The 111.8 cm width and 30.5 m length are the practical figures to weigh against your planned prints. The width gives you room to plan larger print layouts, while the length lets you think in terms of a series of prints rather than a single sheet. It’s worth mapping out the sizes you expect to produce before choosing a roll, especially if your work varies from print to print. These dimensions give you a clear starting point for that decision, without tying the paper to one particular print size. The product name also places it in Ilford’s Galerie Prestige range and identifies it as a Fine Art paper, so it’s aimed at considered image presentation rather than being described simply as everyday photo paper. If you’re choosing between papers, keep the texture and the roll dimensions in view: those are the specific details this product gives you to work with.
