Ilford MGFB1K Classic 127cmx10m Ei 1R | Wide photo paper for long prints

When a photo print needs a broad working width, this Ilford paper gives you 127 cm to work with and 10 metres in length. It’s photo paper in a wide format, suited to print jobs where those dimensions are a closer fit than a narrower sheet. The name identifies it as the MGFB1K Classic, and the supplier lists its colour as black. Those are the useful facts to start with: the product name, the stated colour and the size. The format is the main reason to consider it. If your planned print fits within 127 cm, the length gives you room to make more than one cut from the same supply. That can help when you’re planning a sequence of prints or working to a particular finished size. The dimensions are specific, so it’s straightforward to compare them with the width and length you need.

For a specialist shop, the practical point is simple: judge this paper by the format your work calls for. A width of 127 cm leaves a sizeable span for wide prints, while 10 metres gives you a long length to allocate across a job. Think about the finished dimensions before choosing, especially if you’ll be cutting the paper to size. The product title also includes “Ei 1R”; it’s retained as part of the model name here rather than expanded into a claim about the paper. If those measurements suit your plans, the Ilford MGFB1K Classic is a clearly identified photo-paper option in a notably broad format.
