Ilford MGFB1K Classic 24x30.5cm 50V.

Ilford MGFB1K Classic 24x30.5cm 50V | Photo paper in a clearly stated size

When you’re comparing photo paper listings, the product name needs to make the choice clear. This is Ilford MGFB1K Classic photo paper, listed in a 24 × 30.5 cm size, with the marking 50V. The supplier lists its colour as black. Those are the details to use when matching this listing to the paper you’re looking for; the 50V marking is included as written, rather than expanded into a sheet count or another specification. It’s a specific product identification, not a description of how a print will look. If you already know the Ilford name and the size you need, the title gives you a direct way to check that you’re looking at the right listing. For a specialist purchase like photo paper, that clarity is useful: the model, size and marking are all visible without relying on a broad description.

In practical terms, start with the dimensions if the paper size is your deciding point, then compare the full model name and its final marking. That keeps the check tied to the exact product title instead of assumptions about what a short code means. The black colour is the supplier’s listed colour for this item. It’s best read as a product detail, not as a promise about the appearance of a finished photograph. The name “Classic” is part of the product designation too. If you’re building a shortlist, keep the full wording together so the size and 50V marking don’t get separated from the model. This listing gives you those identifiers in one place, making it easier to distinguish this Ilford photo paper from another listing with a different name or stated size. A plain, precise match is the sensible way to choose here.
