Ilford MGRCWT1M 40.6x50.8cm 50

Ilford MGRCWT1M 40.6x50.8cm 50 | A clearly specified photo paper format

The useful distinction here is its clearly stated sheet size: 40.6 x 50.8 cm, alongside the product name Ilford MGRCWT1M and the number 50. That makes this a straightforward option to consider when you’re looking for photo paper in this particular format, rather than choosing by a broad description alone. It suits photographers and printmakers who already know the dimensions they want and need to compare a specific paper product with their intended print size. The listing identifies it as photo paper, so its purpose is direct: making photographic prints. There’s no need to dress that up. The honest point is that the size is substantial, so it’s worth thinking about the finished print and how you plan to handle or display it before settling on this format. If those dimensions suit your work, the product name gives you a clear reference for your selection.

Choosing the format

With photo paper, the print dimensions are a practical starting point. Think about the image you want to print and the space you have in mind for the finished result; this product’s stated format gives you a concrete measurement to work from. It can also help when you’re comparing paper options, since a precise size is easier to match against a project than a general description such as “large format.” The number 50 is part of the product title and is included below as the stated quantity designation.

One detail to keep in mind is that this page can only identify the product by its supplied name, category, dimensions, quantity designation and colour. If you’re selecting paper around a particular look or print process, use the Ilford product name as your reference point when making that decision. This page doesn’t add claims about the paper’s surface, tone or performance. For a purchase based on a known size and named product, the available details are simple to compare; for decisions that depend on other paper characteristics, make sure those requirements are addressed in your selection.
