Indipro Ultra Mini V-Mount Adapter Plate w/ 15mm Rod Clamp
Indipro Ultra Mini V-Mount Adapter Plate w/ 15mm Rod Clamp | Add V-mount mounting to a rod rig
Finding a place for a V-mount plate can be awkward when your camera setup is built around rods. The Indipro Ultra Mini gives that setup a rod-clamp mounting point, so you can position a V-mount adapter plate as part of your rig. It’s a tripod accessory for camera operators and filmmakers building a rod-supported setup, particularly when they want the battery mounting point to sit with the rest of the rig rather than be treated as a separate piece. The appeal is its specific job: joining a V-mount plate to a rod setup. It doesn’t try to be a power system or a general-purpose support; it’s a mounting component. If you’re assembling a rig and need this particular connection, it keeps the task straightforward. You can focus on placing the plate where it works for your setup.
Specialist Note
Can this Indipro plate mount a V-mount battery on a rod-built camera rig? Yes: the plate provides the V-mount mounting point, and its 15mm rod clamp attaches it to the matching rods. That makes it a focused option for adding a battery position to a camera rig, or for building that mounting point into a tripod accessory setup. I’d start by deciding where the plate needs to sit, then clamp it there before arranging the rest of the rig around it. One honest point: this is a mounting part, not a complete power solution, so it suits a setup where the other power components are handled separately.
