Indipro V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate For Blackmagic Pocket

Indipro V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate For Blackmagic Pocket: Power your camera from a V-mount battery

On a video rig set up around a V-mount battery, the Indipro V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate For Blackmagic Pocket provides a way to power a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera from that battery. The plate is intended for the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K, so it’s aimed at filmmakers building a rig around either of those cameras and a V-mount power source. Its distinguishing detail is the included 15mm rod bracket: the plate can be attached to a video rig using that bracket, rather than being limited to a position separate from the rig. That makes it useful in a few specific setups. You can use the V-mount battery to power the camera, mount the plate on a rod-equipped rig, or place it at the back of the rig to serve as a counterweight. The counterweight role is particularly relevant when you’re arranging a rig with more equipment toward the front. This is a focused power-and-mounting accessory, not a complete rig or battery kit. The listed package includes the plate and rod bracket; the battery itself isn’t among the stated included items.

Power and Rig Features

• V-mount battery power: The plate provides a way to run a compatible Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera from a V-mount battery. It’s useful when your camera setup is already organised around that battery format and you want the camera powered from the same source.
• For Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K: The stated camera compatibility covers Blackmagic’s Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and Pocket Cinema Camera 6K. That gives owners of either model a clear match for a V-mount-powered rig, rather than leaving the intended camera system open to guesswork.
• Included 15mm rod bracket: A 15mm rod bracket comes with the plate. It provides the stated mounting connection for attaching the plate to a video rig built around a 15mm rod system.
• Rig-mounted positioning: The plate can be attached to a video rig with its supplied bracket. This keeps the battery plate as part of the rig setup, rather than treating it as a separate accessory that has no stated rig-mounting option.
• Useful at the rear of a rig: The plate can be positioned at the back of the rig. In that location, it serves as a counterweight, a useful role when balancing the arrangement of equipment across the rig.
• Power and support in one accessory: The plate’s role is specifically tied to V-mount battery power and rig attachment. For a Pocket Cinema Camera 4K or 6K setup, it brings those two functions together in one component; it doesn’t replace the V-mount battery or the rig itself.
