Designed to support demanding 8K recording sessions, the Insta360 X5 Thermo Grip Cover helps make longer shoots more comfortable by reducing the camera’s surface temperature. When the X5 records in 8K at 30 fps, power usage increases and the camera may naturally warm up. This accessory helps manage that heat so you can keep filming with less discomfort.
Built with advanced graphene-based phase change materials, the Thermo Grip Cover is engineered to lower the camera’s surface temperature by up to 7°C during 8K recording, based on testing in a controlled laboratory environment compared with shooting without the cover.
