JJC F-NC72 2 In 1 Variable ND + CPL Filter
JJC F-NC72 2 In 1 Variable ND + CPL Filter | Control light and reflections together
Instead of carrying a variable ND filter and a CPL as separate pieces, the JJC F-NC72 brings both functions together in one filter. It’s aimed at photographers and video makers who want to manage exposure and reflected light without switching between two filter types. The variable ND function lets you reduce the light reaching the camera, which can help you use a slower shutter speed in bright conditions or keep a chosen aperture. The CPL function helps reduce reflections from surfaces such as water and glass, making it useful for scenes where glare gets in the way. That makes this combination especially relevant for outdoor video, moving water and reflective subjects. Its appeal is straightforward: two kinds of light control in one product. The trade-off is that the functions are combined, rather than being two separate filters you can choose independently.
Specialist Note
The JJC F-NC72 is best at bringing exposure reduction and reflection control into one filter. The 2-in-1 design suits someone who’d rather work with a combined filter than carry separate ND and polarising filters. For bright daylight video, use the variable ND function to reduce incoming light when you want a slower shutter; for water or glass, the CPL function can help tame distracting reflections. I’d consider it for outdoor scenes where both kinds of control could be useful. One point to keep in mind: because the ND and CPL functions share a filter, it won’t give you the same independent choice as two separate filters.
