Kaiser RTX Repro / Titelarm - 90-degree rotation with position locking

Kaiser RTX Repro / Titelarm rotates through 90 degrees and locks in position, giving copy and title work a camera arm that can be set horizontally or tilted for vertical shots. It’s made for photographers setting up a reproduction or studio arrangement where the camera needs to be positioned in relation to the subject. The arm’s horizontal adjustment and built-in spirit level offer two useful ways to set its position: move the arm across the horizontal plane, then check the alignment at a glance. A camera can be attached on either the inside or outside of the arm, so you can choose the mounting side that suits the arrangement in front of you. For photographing flat material, the arm’s adjustable position and ability to tilt for vertical shooting are directly relevant; for title photography, the same 90-degree rotation and locking let you set the camera arm to the required angle and secure that position. The mount has both 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch threads. That gives you two threaded mounting options on the arm, rather than just one. It’s a focused studio accessory: the main point is controlled camera positioning, with a level and several adjustment options built into the arm.

Positioning and mounting

• 90-degree rotation: The arm turns through a quarter turn, so its orientation can be changed for a different camera position. This range is especially useful when setting up a reproduction or title arrangement that calls for the camera to sit at another angle.
• Locks at any position: Once the arm has been rotated, you can secure it in the position you need. That means the chosen angle can be held in place rather than left free to turn while you work.
