Kase Revolution Plus R-Mcuv 77 mm
Kase Revolution Plus R-Mcuv 77 mm | Everyday protection for your lens
Among protection filters, the useful distinction here is clear from the name: this is Kase’s Revolution Plus R-Mcuv in a 77 mm size. It suits photographers who want a protective filter for a lens with a matching 77 mm filter thread, especially if the front element sees regular handling or they prefer a filter in place during day-to-day use. The size is the practical starting point: read the filter-thread marking on your lens, not the lens’s focal length, and match it to 77 mm. That makes this a straightforward option for keeping a protective barrier in front of the lens during ordinary shooting and storage. It’s best chosen for that protective role: photographers seeking a particular visual effect should look for a filter intended for that purpose. If front-element protection is your priority, the named purpose and size make it easy to narrow down whether this is the right version.
Specialist Note
77 mm is the figure to match to your lens’s filter thread; it means this version suits lenses with that exact size. The protection category is the other useful clue: this is for keeping a barrier in front of the lens, rather than choosing a filter for a particular visual effect. If you’re changing lenses during a busy day or packing your camera between outings, keeping it fitted gives the front of the lens an extra protective layer during ordinary handling. I’d make sure the filter itself stays clean, since marks on its front surface can get in the way of a clear view. It suits someone who values that simple, practical role.
