Kenko Mavic Air Filterkit
Kenko Mavic Air Filterkit | Filter support for Mavic Air filming
For Mavic Air owners looking to use filters while filming, the Kenko Mavic Air Filterkit is a drone accessory named for that aircraft. Filters sit in the camera’s light path, so using one can change the light recorded in a shot; the look you get depends on the filter and the conditions. This kit is best suited to someone who already flies a Mavic Air and wants a filter kit for that system, rather than a general-purpose drone accessory. It’s a straightforward product to consider when you’re planning how to handle bright scenes or shape the image in camera. The name tells you the key pairing: Kenko and Mavic Air. If that’s the drone you use, this is the specific filterkit to look at; the product name alone doesn’t identify particular filter types or effects, so I wouldn’t assume a specific result from it.
Specialist Note
A filter sits in the camera’s light path, so the physical idea behind this kit is simple: it changes the light before the Mavic Air records the image. The name is useful here: Kenko is the brand, and Mavic Air identifies the drone this kit is intended for. I’d consider it if you fly that model and want to work with filters for your footage, especially when you want to make choices about the image before recording rather than relying only on edits later. One practical note: the title doesn’t identify individual filter types, so I wouldn’t buy it expecting a particular exposure effect or look without confirming that detail first.
