Kiwi CS-15 Hot Shoe Extension Bar 150mm

Kiwi CS-15 Hot Shoe Extension Bar 150mm | Move your accessory farther from the camera

Move a hot-shoe accessory farther from the camera and give yourself more room around the camera’s top plate. The Kiwi CS-15 Hot Shoe Extension Bar 150mm is a 150mm extension bar for photographers who need that extra distance when positioning an accessory. Its purpose is straightforward: extend the hot-shoe position rather than add another camera feature. That can help when the placement of an accessory matters to your setup, or when you want it set apart from the camera body. The honest point is that the title tells us the length and type of product, but not which accessories or cameras it supports, so I wouldn’t assume a particular combination. If you already know your setup needs a hot-shoe extension bar, the CS-15 gives you a specific length to consider: 150mm. It’s a simple piece of kit with a clear job, and that makes the measurement the key detail when deciding whether it suits the way you work.

Considering the 150mm extension

An extension bar is about positioning. The 150mm figure gives you a concrete reference for how far the hot-shoe position is extended, which is useful when planning a camera setup with an accessory mounted away from the body. Think about where you need that accessory to sit and whether this length fits the arrangement you have in mind. The product name identifies the connection as a hot shoe, but it doesn’t identify any supported camera system or accessory type. For that reason, this description sticks to what the CS-15 is: a Kiwi hot shoe extension bar measuring 150mm. There’s no need to read more into the name than that. If your requirement is specifically for a 150mm hot-shoe extension, this is the measurement to compare against your intended position.
