It gives you the ability to power your Canon R5C sufficiently to enable 8K 60 RAW via USB C with any V- or Gold Mount battery. Imagine the convenience that comes from hot-swapping batteries by keeping an internal camera battery charged via USB C and exchanging V- or Gold Mount batteries while the camera is powered on. This makes it an unmatched power solution for most professional mirrorless production workflows.
As these are bidirectional cables, you can also charge your V-mount and Gold Mount batteries using a USB C PD wall charger. The caveat - the AC PD wall charger must be sourced separately.
This cable can deliver up to a maximum of 65W, intelligently providing the necessary voltage to any connected USB-C PD device using the advanced Power Delivery protocols.
